We are thrilled to announce that once again, as part of The Poetry Shelf, we will be co-hosting a poetry event and this time it is in conjunction with The National Trust.

On Friday, June 10th we will be at Sissinghurst Castle in Kent (home of Vita Sackville-West) to celebrate their gardens and, in particular, the roses. There will be readings from Abegail Morley (The Poetry Shed), Jill Munro and Paper Swans poets.

To celebrate this event, Paper Swans is launching a poetry competition on the theme of ‘Roses’. To enter, please see our submissions page. Winning poems will be published in a small pamphlet (for the event) and also on postcards.
