The Poetry Shelf

We are excited to announce a new project that we are involved in. Along with poets Abegail Morley and Jill Munro, we have set up The Poetry Shelf, which is aiming to bring more poetry to Kent and Sussex via different events and to be part of national poetry festivals too.

Our first event is on 25th November at Waterstones in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Paper Swans will be talking about publishing and some of our published poets will be reading from The Darker Side of Love and Schooldays. Abegail will be reading from her latest pamphlet, In Memory of Water, and her books How to Pour Madness into a Teacup, Snow Child and Eva and George. Jill will be reading from her debut book The Man from La Paz.

Tunbridge Wells is less than an hour from Charing Cross, so if you are based in the South East, I do hope you consider coming along.
